Wine aficionados have long had a passion for wine design, and the process of getting it right has been a source of fascination for many.
But now that designers are in the business of making the wine, they also have a need to make sure their work fits the taste of the consumer.
That’s why the Wine & Design Institute, a nonprofit organization that promotes wine design across the country, recently launched a series of workshops focused on creating a wine that appeals to the consumer in the best possible way.
The goal of the series, titled Wine & Style: The Design Process for Wine, is to teach designers how to make wine design fit the tastes of the wine-drinking public.
Each workshop will feature a panel of experts and a panel discussion with wine experts, and will focus on the most common wine styles and how they fit into the wine culture.
The goal is to help designers improve their craft in the field, and to help wine lovers find their wines.
“There are so many people who are in wine design right now,” said Jennifer Besser, executive director of the Wine&Design Institute.
“The craft and the experience of making wine is something that everyone wants to be part of, but that doesn’t happen often enough.
This is something we want to give people that experience.””
It’s about creating a unique wine experience, and you’re going to be amazed how much it takes to get it right,” said Bessers co-founder and president, James C. Scott.
“What you see is just one part of the process, and what you see and what the experts are saying is that it’s really about the people, the craft, and how you do it.
You need to get the process right.””
We’ve been talking about this for a while,” said Ben Breslin, who heads up the Wine Design Institute.
In the past, he said, the focus was on wine styles, which are a good indication of how much expertise is involved in the process.
Now, with a greater emphasis on the wine world, that’s not the case.
“I don’t think anyone really understands what a wine is anymore,” Bresin said.
“That’s kind of why it’s so important to start with the wine.
When you get down to it, that just means you’re really interested in the people who made that wine.”
Breslin said he believes the Wine and Design Institute is a great idea.
“It’s a good thing to start the conversation,” he said.
“We’re all about trying to help each other get better, but the challenge of this business is to make it as simple as possible.
And I think that’s where this is going.”
The Wine &Style series will be held at the Wine Academy in Washington, D.C., and will be led by a panel that includes Michael Niekert, the co-owner of the boutique restaurant and restaurant restaurant in Washington and a longtime wine enthusiast.
“There’s a lot of wine that’s going to make you thirsty,” Nieksert said.
The first two workshops will focus solely on wine, while the third will include food.
The series will run through September, and participants are invited to apply to be featured.
“We want people who really understand wine, who are interested in wine, but who are also looking for the perfect wine,” Besseri said.
